How long will it take?
Please allow 7 to 10 business days for shipping within the continental US.
We strive to ship orders as soon as possible, however some items may not always be in stock. We are a very small company, and due to our print-on-demand production process, it may take up to 10 days for us to produce and ship your order.
If you need an item by a specific date, please call first and we'll try our best to help you out!

All orders are shipped by USPS Priority Mail.
Where do you ship?
We currently only ship within the continental US, Alaska, and Hawaii. Sorry, no international shipping!
Are your garments "True to Size?"
Ahh, the eternal question. Everyone asks, but everyone has a different idea of what that means.
We try our best to provide garments that fit the way most modern folks expect them to. They are definitely not the same tiny garments that a lot of the other guys sell. Our women's shirts fit women.
Of course, the best thing to do is to check the size chart.
So what size should I order?
If you wear a unisex large t-shirt, order a unisex large t-shirt. If you want to order a women's shirt, you might consider going up one size if you want it to be a little looser.
Most folks like their hoodies to be baggier, so if you wear a large t-shirt, we recommend an XL hoodie.
Is it going to shrink?
We try to use pre-shrunk fabrics as much as possible. We also use blends in most cases, which tend to retain their shape and elasticity better than 100% cotton.
That said, if you wash it on hot, and dry it on high for 2 hours, yeah, you could probably shrink it if you tried. But we don't get any complaints.
Just wash it cold and tumble dry gently and it'll be fine.
How do I use my discount code?
Discount codes are entered at checkout. Your code may have been automatically applied when you clicked a link, so be sure to verify it's there before you check out.
Can I use multiple codes at once?
You can only use one discount code at a time; discounts may not be combined. If you have multiple codes, be sure to use the one that gives you the best discount!

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. You can also use Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other direct payments.
Is my credit card data secure?
It absolutely is. Our merchant processor, Shopify Payments, is one of the industry's biggest and most trusted e-commerce companies.
Shopify automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).
What do you do with my data?
When you enter payment information using Shopify, Rooted in Michigan never actually sees your bank account numbers or credit card numbers. We only see your email address and contact information, in addition to your order.
Rooted in Michigan does not store any customer financial data.
And while we're on the subject, we'll never share your email address either.
Returns / Exchanges
Got the wrong size? Wrong color? No problem.
We want you to be thrilled with your purchase! We will be happy to exchange unworn shirts (it's ok if you tried it on) for a different style, size, or color within 30 days of delivery.
To exchange your shirt, please simply mail it to:

Please include an Exchange/Returns Form, as well as a copy of the packing slip that was sent with your original purchase. (If you purchased in person at an event and do not have a packing slip, no worries)
Changed your mind about an item? No problem.
Items returned for a refund within 30 days of delivery will be issued the full amount of the original purchase price, less discounts and shipping costs, issued to the original payment method used for the order.
If you're outside of the original 30-day window, we'll issue you a digital gift card for the refund amount. This is the same as store credit, and can be used for any item at any time with no expiration date.
Incorrect / Damaged Items? No problem.
Sometimes we make a mistake! If you have received incorrect / damaged / defective merchandise or we have otherwise made a mistake in your order, we want to fix it right away!
Please contact us to open a claim, and we'll send you a replacement along with a pre-paid return label for the unwanted items.
